Description

A cover for the translation of the 4th novel of a serie from Jon Courtenay Grimwood, called "Rouge Robe" for the french publisher Bragelonne.
It's a kind of uchronie, mixing thriller and violent cyberpunk elements with a lot of bad intentions...
I have fun doing it, a little come back for me to something more painted, with less photoshop gimmicks (more my habits)
Photoshop 7

Exelent work dude!
Everything is great. However, the monk's red is too red and saturated for my taste. But that is only MY taste
+9/10

the shade on the monk's forehead is bothering. otherwise, great illustration.

the beam doesn't seem to follow the direction of the arm/gun, it should be on the right shoulder imo. Very nice pic though :)

This has really great texture. You did a great job on the construction. There are a few little nit picky things but they have already been mentioned. What has not been said (I think) is that the work on the skin of the foreground figure is absolutely wonderful! The clouds are nice too!

I have always really enjoyed your work and this is among your best. really liking the sense of movement, the expressions and body language. The blonde's hair is a little too much like Cloud's from Final Fantasy (poking up and all) for my taste but that is a very small thing. Great job!

edit: I am still looking at this and really enjoy the overcast sky and the way the shadows are playing with the landscape and figures. Really great work!

Great work! Reminds me of Duncan Fegredo's paintings... though I can't place why. Is this Acrylic? Water Color? Digital? It's kind of hard to tell!

Bonsoir--riveting image, with one huge discordance (maybe 2)...
...the vampiric-cleric-in-red is not wearing a grocery-store bar-code on his lapel!
So, the leather-clad dude will have to call for a price-check and Mr.Red will plant a v-kiss on his neck in the meantime..! (no wonder the 'determined' look on Mr.Leather's face!) Jeste non plus, ditch-ez le bar-code scanner! A Cross in hand
would validate the evident energy of your picture. (nice work on the sky and leather!) ---(+3.5, vote 3)

Believable. (somehow this style gives me a flashback from an adventure action game called heart of china which was release in the beginning of nineties; except this guy looks like he is part indiana jones and part of memento's Leonard).
